A letter

I consider "Three men in a boat..." is rather humorous book and, fortunately, you won't find any tragic episode while you're reading it. That's why I think a letter should be written in a comic manner. So don't be very shocked...as I want to write a letter on behalf of a dog. Let's imagine that Montmorency learned to  express his thoughts by writing.
    Hello, Jay, my dear friend!
I can't believe I'm able to talk to you, it's a great gift from God I think. I have been waiting for this moment for all my life. I have so many things and questions which I want to discuss. Could you tell me how do you, people, cope with flea? Oh, it's impossible to scratch my body all the time, I can't stand them. And why don't    you run for cats? Isn't it interesting? Oh, no, I should stop it, I'm sorry, it's not important for you I know. I must tell you something about the river trip. Frankly speaking I wasn't satisfied with your desicion about taking a trip at first. I believed it would be boring and I couldn't imagine myself travelling in a boat. There isn't any cat or rat and anyway I could have a seasickness! But now I don't regret. I didn't think that your friends were able to behave in such a ridicolous and silly way. Everything that they started to do made me burst out of laughter as they couldn't cooperate at all. They weren't even manage to pack a suitcase without an incident. In general, I am pleased with the trip.
   I hope you'll answer me soon. Bark-bark! Sorry, I mean bye-bye.
   Yours,
   Montmorency
